About Us
Founded in 2012 and registered locally in Nigeria in 2017, Romeo & Zainab Boudib Foundation “ROMZAIB”, is a non-governmental organization that supports community development through education and health. ROMZAIB works with poor, rural and underserved communities in Northern Nigeria to
design and implement programs to improve literacy, educate the girl child, and empower women to make informed health decisions for themselves and their families. ROMZAIB also serves as an advocacy organization through strong networks with policy makers and key decision makers in government to influence health and education policies which favour development in these underserved communities. ROMZAIB uses evidence-based guidance for health and education policy advocacy.
We have a harmonious working relationship with wide range of stakeholders working in the health and education sector in northern Nigeria. In addition, we partner with state government, local communities and other stakeholders to provide practical and sustainable solutions on healthcare for women and the girl-child.
We work with the federal, state and local governments, and in close consultation with local communities, to improve the quality and availability of health services including antenatal and postnatal care, safer deliveries, care for newborns and infants, better nutrition, and routine immunization against preventable diseases.
Our interventions are funded and supported by contributions and donations from family and friends.
